My inspiration and mentor to singing and becoming (more) musically inclined is the former musical director of the La Salle Green Hills Songsters, Mrs. Emma Varzsovia-Tantengco.

Popo thought of giving "Tita Emma" a Mother's Day card with our scribbled notes.
I joined the grade school glee club in Grade 3 and graduated Grade 7 with a “Best in Music” award because of her.

The next time I worked with Mrs. Tantengco was during my high school drama club participation where she volunteered to be (again) our musical director. She now lives in Australia.

Me and my musical inspiration!
These pictures are of our May 4, 2009 get-together at Songsters’ Mon Eugenio’s restaurant, Myron’s at Greenbelt-5.
My kids fooling around as they just arrived from a 3-hour flight from Hong Kong, which previous to that they rode a 12-hour flight from Vancouver, BC.

My Kids-just arrived in Manila!
Aaron and Cara chill out inside their old room at Lola’s house. Far from being back home away from home, I miss them dearly. In God’s time we shall reunite again.
During Roy Estaris and NJ Villanueva’s visit to the Philippines, we all trekked to the nearby Japanese Master Burger restaurant, “Sango,” along The Gallery in Amorsolo Street.

L-R: Joahnna Denosta (Travel Outlet Philippines Sales & Marketing Manager), Mathet Tiongson (Travel Outlet Philippine General Manager), me, Roy Estaris (Travel Outlet Virigini/HQ CEO & President), NJ Villanueva (Travel Outlet Virginia), Clarice Estrella (Workspresso Operations Manager), Melissa Ruiz and Stephanie Canto (Travel Outlet Philippine Travel Agents).
By the way, Sango has one of the best tasting burgers in town, in case you haven’t tried it — and you should!
